Digital TV
I was thinking what we’ll do about the two televisions in our house that are hooked up to the analog cable line when the move to all digital TV comes around next February. We could always add another converter from Comcast but I really don’t want another box and more wires on the kitchen counter.
So I was thinking about getting an antenna that would pick up the free HDTV signals already being broadcast. My friend George has one for his computer and can watch crystal clear television using a simple antenna. He said the signal is as strong as an FM radio station and there are many local channels available in the area. At home he has an antenna installed in his attic that supplies the HD signal to his home TV setup.
The best part is after the purchase of the antenna, the service is free. Who knows, I may be able to ditch Comcast.
