Podcast with iTunes

As you may know, the new version of iTunes now includes Podcasting support. It’s a great feature and the directory of podcasts is easy to navigate and add to your playlists.
The problem I’m having with podcasts is finding the time to actually listen to them. The five podcasts to which I’m currently subscribed take about four hours to go through. I can skip past the boring parts but I have trouble keeping up with these constantly updated “broadcasts” each week.

Another potential issue with iTunes supporting podcasting is now large corporations are getting into it. One of the cool things about podcasting is the “pirate radio” feel to the shows I download. With corporations getting involved, the commercialization of this new medium won’t be far behind. The good thing is I will still have the option to only subscribe to feeds that interest me - one’s without commercials.
