The Deep Web

Even with it’s vast resources, Google only indexes a third of the web’s nine billion pages. The rest, called The Deep Internet includes the places that the Web’s search engines can’t spider. These resources include businesses, universities, government agencies and other organizations. It’s estimated the Deep Internet may be up to 50 times larger than the visible web.

Complete Planet, Invisible Web and Vivisimo are good starting points into the vast unused treasures of the Deep Web.

The Bloggies have come and gone. There were some great sites nominated this year. I’m not sure why FSB was missed but have a look anyway at the list.
