UnPod

So I told you I got a new iPod last Sunday. Today Seth reminded me about the new models just released TODAY. I didn’t think they were coming out so soon. For the same price as my 20 GB one, I can now get a new 4th generation 40GB pod. I wonder why the nice folks at the Apple store didn’t let me know about the new ones coming the VERY NEXT DAY. Losers. I’ve packed up my new (old) one and will cheerfully take it back to the store and exchange it for a newer one.

I left work early today with a bad stomach ache. I’m sure it was something I ate. I’m still not feeling well and I may call in sick tomorrow. So I’ll need the services of The Excuse Generator. Then again, I could just tell the truth.

What did you think of Stargate Atlantis? I liked it. Of course anything that has to do with Stargates is bound to be a favorite of mine. I enjoyed how they are using the technology of the Ancients to help them fight this new and scary enemy.

While browsing through their site, I learned the GDO- the device that sends a signal back to command to “open the iris” stands for Garage Door Opener. Very clever. I’m not sure how I missed that.
